ABOUT me:
From 2013–2015, I earned a Master of Liberal Arts at Harvard University, USA, concentrating on journalism, creative non-fiction and media law, where I emerged with two memoirs, one manuscript, a love of buffalo chicken wings, and lots of research on the evolving defintion of a free press.
Prior to my master's, I worked for eight years as a marketing specialist and content writer within the HR services industry in London, before spending two and a half years working internationally from my company headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Outside of work, my interests include: historical fiction, quizzing, wine, satirical comedy, gender, post-war American poetry, amateur dramatics, short stories, cemeteries, the idiosyncrasies of British life, and long-form narrative journalism.
I’m also an alumna of the University of Newcastle, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from 2000-2003.
